Around 5000 people. And it swells to 10,000 plus in the summer.

The job market opens up around spring time, before the May long weekend.
As for the living expenses, there are jobs that come with subsidized housing through the employers. Many do not.
The average price for bachelor suite is around $500 per month not including the utilities.

Although, I do not know the cost of getting married in various places. I can say that any public outdoor area in the National Park is free.
For the hotels and convention areas, you will have to contact the propertiy owners.
As for the best place? It is up to each indivdual. I can tell you that Pyramid Island is the most popular.
