Climbing Lost Boys

The climbing culture is live in Jasper

There are plenty of places to climb in the park, even indoors at our activity centre. This photo shoot was at a place they call “lost boys”. Nice on your hands kind of rock that allows you to climb often without ripping the skin off your digits.

This place takes a little hike to reach off the 93a hwy. Got to the local climbing shop to get the details for this fun spot.

A large number of fatal climbing accidents are caused by falling stones. Sometimes the size is not so decisive – even an unfortunate falling stone, which is only the size of a fist, can have fatal consequences. As soon as you climb outside, a climbing helmet is mandatory. Stones usually don’t come loose on their own. Climb with a friend and do a buddy check.

Thanks to Jay and Chris for modeling.
