Jasper House

Historical site excursion

Biking or hiking to Jasper House historic site, the access is along a service road maintained by CNR. The access road starts from the Celestine Road, then you will come across a gated service area. This is where you can park the vehicles or ride the bike out for an extended burn. Just leave access to the gate open.

Jasper House site has only remnants of the settlers back in the day. So you might miss the area if not for the signs. Look around for other signs of structures. we found an old cellar dug out to be what they kept there food at a stable temperature. There were also signs of what looked like a foundation.

What once belong here is now history.

Tall willow bushes, watch out for bears!
