A fifteen minute drive from the townsite of Jasper, you will reach the base of the sky tram.
Hiking is also an option if you want to take your lesurely time to the top terminal.
From the top you can access more back country trails.
The Jasper Tramway whisks you up Whistlers Mountain to an elevation of 2285 metres for stunning vistas over mountain ranges stretching up to 80 km away. Interpretive exhibits explain the high alpine environment and a hiking trail leads you to the summit of the mountain. On a clear day the white pyramid of Mt. Robson can be seen in nearby British Columbia. Gift shops and licensed dining facilities available.
