Skating Pyramid Lake
Close to town access to natural ice skating
Winter destination resort and open to public for winter activities. The skating area is maintained by Pyramid Lake Resort, they even have curling with wood stumps.
Some days there is horse drawn sleds to pull you around the lake for that romantic setting. Usually Jasper in January sets up some extra activities like dog sledding and mini festivals.
If you have never skated on natural frozen lakes before, here is you chance to check it out. When the ice is safe, a circuit is plowed out for you to enjoy.

Ice can be thin in spots even in the coldest temperatures, so caution is advised when ever attempting to venture into these areas.
