La Luna Social @ Jasper Wellness
May 27 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

A New Moon marks the beginning of a new cycle, a fresh start in it’s cycle of waxing and waning. During this time the Moon is empty and receptive and full of potential. This is an optimum time to plant seeds of intentions for what you wish to manifest in your life.

Most of us, live our lives so disconnected from the Earth, and devoid of any kind of ritual that creates the space for us to connect. So the New Moon provides us with an opportunity to take the time to create SACRED SPACE for ourselves. It’s essential.

There is something so powerful when women come together to support each other on their journey, in the hopes and dreams. We are healed, we are nurtured, we feel comforted and understood. Moreover, when you share sacred space together you magnify the power of your intentions and you energetically create a web of support for not only your circle of women friends but with women everywhere.” ~ Mystic Mamma

La Luna Social, a New Moon offering for women to come together in sacred ceremony. Each ceremony will explore a different themes using various modalities like tea mediation, movement, chanting, journaling, crafts and more

MAY 27TH offering will be TEA MEDITATION… inspired by the practice of Cha Doa (way of tea) is a supreme concept in Chinese philosophy, and roughly refers to the underlying essence, principle, or order behind the natural world.
This soft practice of silent introspective is made sweeter and more nourishing when wild-hand crafted teas are the doorway in.

Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Two
May 28 @ 9:00 am – 10:15 am

Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Two is a prenatal class focused on birth

Prenatal Yoga is the nurturing activity undertaken when time is spent (a
little or a lot) to gently relax, release and attune to your body and your
rapidly growing baby within. The natural, vital and restorative energies of
the body and mind are enhanced through gentle yoga postures.

When pregnant, one feels the strains of the ever-changing body. Yoga
counterbalances the growing abdomen and maintains good posture. Stretching
while strengthening helps to release the pelvic opening in preparation for
birth. Toning the pelvic floor allows for a more controlled birthing,
lessens complications and enhances postnatal healing.

Breath work is practiced in preparation for responding to labour by
coordinating with the rhythms of contractions. Breathing awareness is
essential for relaxation, comfort and confidence. Just being in your body
that is home for two is yoga. Your pregnant body is naturally and
miraculously in a state of enhanced energy and creativity. Taking time to
pause from the stream of day-to-day activity to connect with your body
enables you to experience and enjoy these augmented senses.

All women experience some fear of labour. A simple foundation in yoga
prepares you to face childbirth with courage. To be relaxed and confident
during labour reduces fear, tension and fatigue. Flexibility and calm ease
the birthing process, thus reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving

While practicing yoga, your relationship with your baby
deepens–physically, mentally and spiritually. It is a time to be mindful
that you are engaged in the creation of new life, and to be attentive to
the impact of this major life passage. Taking time in this way allows the
quickly passing nine months to be cherished.

Each class ends with a discussion with topics such as, decreasing stresses
in pregnancy, induction (natural methods, risks of medical induction,
acupuncture), birth support people & more.
