Cross-country Ski Marmot Meadows
Track set xc-ski at an open area next to Whistlers Campground.
Updated 2021, Parks Canada started grooming this December 13, 2021. This area was closed to public for two-three years 2018-2021 when Parks Canada was renovating the campsites at Whistlers camp.
The area is now prepped for 2021-2022 season, with the recent snow, it will set up well for this season. It will be the closest track set for Jasper. I know the locals are really going to enjoy this place.
The ski trail now has an one way system, so please follow the signs, as there are parts that skiers are going to be going fast downhill and having someone go the wrong way will be bad news. Specailly on the Re-Run trail. This will not apply at the Whistlers loop.
Parking area is now cleared out and there is an entrance off the 93 hwy across from Wapiti campground.
