This five km loop is rated intermediate for cross country skiers.

On this crisp day we used some light touring gear and only used wax. Temperature was hovering around -19 C and blue bird day. The shade was definitely cooler, so when we got to the lake on our loop, we ventured onto the virgin snow and stayed in the sun. A friendly Grey Jay was keeping us company while we had a small break watching the scenery.

This trail can be completed with cross country skis or snowshoes if you do not have ski touring setup. Just let the trail get packed down with traffic and you should be good to go.
