Old Fort Point to Mile 12

This little excursion took us from Old Fort Point to mile 12. This section is rated class I & a little bit of class II (avoidable rapids).
You can stop along the river to check out some sites like the Moberly cabin and the airfield.
Shuttle a car down at mile 12, where you see the bridge going over Athabasca River (not the bridge that crosses to the Maligne valley).
This particular trip was done in late June and the water was still low so add extra time to your adventure. Give yourselves a good part of the day to float and navigate the Athabasca River. Lots to discover and see.
